Professional birth photographers specialize in knowing how to capture the most precious of moments in all lighting conditions. As lighting may be lowered in most home births and birthing centers to create a calming and peaceful environment, we know how to use the proper equipment to illuminate the moment without disrupting the calm atmosphere. For us photographers that utilize flash, we need to know how to use it correctly as to not disrupt the the birthing person and the birth space energy. The birth photographer also needs to know where and when to move around in each unique space. This really comes with time and practice.
Professional home birth photographers know the angles, the lighting and how to capture it in a way that is tasteful yet authentic and raw to the moment. Documenting your story/journey of bringing these little ones into the world is our goal. You are your story. Every story is unique and beautiful in its own way. And most veteran moms know, no birth or baby is alike. Every one is different and it takes a journey to bring that sweet little baby into this world. Your spouse, your birth team and how your amazing strength and endurance brought your child to your arms is YOUR story.

Bump to Birth Deluxe Package- $1855
Package includes:
Initial Meeting
I offer all of my home birth clients unlimited planning assistance. This begins with an in person or zoom meeting to give us a chance to get to know one another & drop in with any questions or ideas. If they have any questions after our conversation, I’m just a phone call away and am happy to support in any capacity leading up to your baby’s big day.
Active Labor & Arrival
I will arrive within 1 hour of your call (time can vary depending on location of birth) and will remain until at least 1 hour after your baby is born or until after the newborn exam is done: Maximum of 8 hours. I take only a limited number of births per month. I will NOT be on call for home birth photography. If I am able to make it to your birth (the timing lines up where I don't have other commitments or work) to render services, then the remaining balance for the services will be due in FULL within 24 hours after baby is born. Given that I cannot guarantee that I will be available when baby comes due to the timing, if I am UNABLE to make it to your home birth, your $500 nonrefundable retainer will be credited towards an at home lifestyle newborn session within 2 weeks after baby is born or a family session within 6 months of birth. :) No refunds are given, no exceptions. A nonrefundable retainer of $500 is required to officially book to get you on my calendar and the remaining balance is due within 24 hours after baby is born.
Crystal USB & EXPEDITED Online Gallery
I professionally hand edit all good images from your home birth in both color and black & white and put them on a custom TD Photography flash drive as a beautiful keepsake. Like the maternity session, you will receive all good images professionally edited and delivered to a private online gallery within 4 days of baby's delivery date.
Maternity Session Included
This is a 40 minute maternity session booked for when you are 32-38 weeks along. ($500 is due on the day of your Maternity Shoot to compensate for services rendered. When paid, it will be deducted from your invoice manually)
